This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and agriculture, contributing to sustainable and profitable investment initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging financial accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting including reporting on variances.Developing, maintaining and analysing annual budgets and 3-5 year forecastsCompleting a monthly financial review and quarterly reforecastsEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Using financial budgeting and reporting tools to develop and interpret trends analysis and financial benchmark information for strategic business opportunitiesAssisting in conducting financial analysis for due diligence and provide insights and recommendations to senior managementPreparing BAS and PAYG returnsThe Ideal CandidateCA or CPA qualification is preferred, however candidates who are degree qualified will also be considered.Intermediate to advanced excel skillsSolid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.What's In It For You?
