Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead / Automation Lead to drive quality assurance and automation initiatives across enterprise applications. The role involves leading testing activities, designing automation frameworks, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high‐quality delivery.
This position requires a strong blend of testing leadership, automation expertise, and technical problem‐solving skills, with exposure to tools such as Tricentis Tosca.
• Lead and coordinate end‐to‐end testing activities across SIT, UAT, and business validation phases
• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios (including happy path, negative, and edge cases)
• Manage test execution, monitor progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Guide and support testers and business users during execution cycles
* Automation & Framework Development
• Design and implement test automation solutions using Tricentis Tosca
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks with reusable components and scalable architecture
• Drive automation strategy, including regression coverage and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure automation aligns with business processes and integrates with enterprise systems
Technical & System Validation
• Work across integrated systems (UI, APIs, backend systems such as SAP) to validate end‐to‐end workflows
• Analyse complex business processes and translate them into testable and automated scenarios
• Perform data validation and ensure consistency across multiple systems
• Work within an Agile delivery environment, participating in sprint ceremonies such as stand‐ups and planning sessions
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and vendors to refine requirements and resolve issues
• Provide early feedback on design and functionality to improve overall solution quality
* Defect Management & Quality Assurance
• Manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA, including triage, prioritisation, and tracking
• Perform root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Ensure defects are validated against business requirements before closure
* Documentation & Governance
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, execution reports, and automation artefacts
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and execution results
• Strong experience in Test Lead / Test Manager / Test Coordinator roles
• Hands‐on experience with Tricentis Tosca (automation development and framework design)
• Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and lifecycle (SIT, UAT, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP)
• Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
Nice to Have
• Experience in utilities domain (electricity, water, or similar)
• Exposure to system integrations and complex enterprise workflows
• Understanding of automation best practices and framework optimisation
