Overview
In this hands‐on position, you'll undertake operational and maintenance activities, support dam and scheme operations, and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive safe and efficient water services.
Responsibilities
* Deliver operational and maintenance activities safely and efficiently, in line with business processes and compliance requirements.
* Conduct fault analysis, recommend solutions, and identify risks and mitigations.
* Maintain surveillance of water supply infrastructure and provide timely feedback on asset condition and performance.
* Be part of a 1‐in‐2 on‐call roster which may require some weekend work; have the option to participate in a 9‐day fortnight (RDO every 2nd week).
Qualifications
* Capable operator with strong technical skills and experience in heavy industry, asset infrastructure, or a similar field.
* Willing to obtain a Certificate III in Water Operations and bring a proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
* Experience working in operational environments such as water supply, industrial, infrastructure, or mechanical/electrical settings.
* Competency in confined space entry, working at heights, and a strong focus on WHS.
* Unrestricted HR driver's licence for a manual vehicle (desirable).
