Mathematics Department Leader
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our Mathematics department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the educational vision and goals for our students.
About the Role
* Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives, including NAPLAN.
* Participate in delivering the vision of the State Schools Division.
* Develop the quality of teaching and learning.
* Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Vision and Leadership – Lead the department in creating and sustaining a shared educational vision focused on high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Equity and Inclusion – Promote and embed socially just and inclusive practices across all aspects of school life.
* Excellence and Growth – Set and uphold high standards for both student achievement and staff performance, fostering continuous professional learning.
* Collaboration and Partnerships – Build strong, productive partnerships with students, parents, staff, community organizations, and other agencies.
* Strategic and Responsible Management – Apply strategic planning, sound governance, and a strong understanding of relevant policies to effectively manage people, resources, and operations.
