We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse with strong counselling, communication and clinical skills to provide high-quality care, guidance and support to clients accessing our services—this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

As the Registered Nurse Counsellor you will be responsible for:
Provide breast health information, counselling and clinical support to women attending the Breast Screen program
Assist in the coordination of assessment clinics and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Deliver clear, timely information and results to clients with empathy and professionalism
Ensure accurate clinical documentation and data entry into the Breast Screen Information System
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits and compliance with Breast Screen National Accreditation Standards
Support safe practice, uphold NSW Health CORE values, and assist in maintaining clinical procedures and guidelines

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Current AHPRA-Registered Nurse
Completed or willingness to complete accredited counselling training
Experience in breast screening, women's health or oncology (highly regarded)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and sound computer skills
Commitment to safe, high-quality patient-centred care
