About the role
The Groups Meetings & Events Sales department is responsible for driving sales activity in order to maximise rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales.
What will I be doing?
* The management of the team on a daily basis
* Up skilling of Conferencing & Events team
* Manage the relationship and business processes between C&E Sales & C&E Operations
* Manage departmental productivity
* Recruitment, training and development of the team
* Regularly review and manage individual and team performance against objectives and provide feedback
* Provide relevant coaching to the team
* Developing and implementing individual team members and both department training plans to meet business needs
