A globally recognised investment and retirement solutions provider is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Trustee Governance function on an initial 4-month contract.
This is a senior-level role supporting the Trustee Board in fulfilling its fiduciary, governance and regulatory obligations. The position offers direct exposure to Board-level strategy, regulatory engagement and oversight of key service providers.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of the Superannuation trustee, you will play a key role in supporting Board oversight, strategy execution and regulatory compliance.Key responsibilities include:
Supporting development and monitoring of Trustee strategy and business plans, including KPIsOversight and tracking of strategic initiatives delivered by service providersPreparation of Board and Committee papers and reportingCoordinating annual Member Outcomes Assessments and Business Performance ReviewsMonitoring and reporting on material and emerging risksSupporting regulatory deliverables including APRA reporting and disclosure obligationsReviewing and maintaining Trustee policies, frameworks and governance controlsResearching and assessing regulatory and legislative developments impacting superannuationCollating and analysing data from service providers and industry bodiesSupporting oversight of service providers through structured review processes
About You
You are a senior superannuation or risk and compliance professional with strong governance and regulatory experience, comfortable operating at Board level.
You will bring:7–10+ years’ experience within superannuation (fund, trustee office or administrator)Strong understanding of APRA and ASIC regulatory frameworksExperience across superannuation, product, investments, risk, insurance or legalProven experience preparing high-quality Board papers and executive reportingStrong financial literacy and ability to liaise with risk and audit functionsExcellent stakeholder engagement skills, including senior executives and DirectorsStrong analytical capability and attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and tight deadlinesTertiary qualifications are preferred. Industry certifications (e.g. RG146) are desirable.
