Position Profile
We are currently seeking to appoint a Clinical Procurement Manager.
Leads and directs complex procurement and contract management of clinical equipment, goods and services and related projects and resources. Conducts performance monitoring and management of clinical contracts for the provision of health services to the public and supervises other staff in the performance monitoring and management of contracts. Works with other areas of the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) regarding advice on clinical contracting for clinical services and the implementation of related projects and initiatives.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other Conditions
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. You may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour. Adverse information will be considered as part of the appointment process.
Please note that completion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required. Any offer of employment is conditional on satisfactory PEHA. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer. See the WACHS PEHA Policy for further information.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies within the health service. If the successful applicant declines or vacates the advertised vacancy, another suitable applicant may be selected from this process. The process remains valid for twelve (12) months from the date the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
