About the Role
Biosis Australia is growing, and we'd love you to be part of it
We are seeking a Facilities Officer to join our team on a 12-month contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role in our Wollongong office. You will report to the Facilities Coordinator (NSW) and play a critical role in keeping everything running smoothly across our NSW managed offices.
In this role, you'll make sure our buildings, vehicles, and equipment are well maintained and meet all legal, compliance and company standards. You'll respond to feedback from your teammates and help create a safe, efficient space for everyone to work in.

Key Responsibilities
* Service: Maintain a service mentality towards the wider organisation by always responding promptly and professionally to all employee requests for assistance, including bookings for staff training and travel
* Vehicles & Equipment: Responsible for managing bookings, disbursements, services, repairs, purchasing, deep cleans, and checks for vehicles and equipment across our NSW offices. This includes all specialist equipment for our consulting teams.
* Asset Management: Follow asset management procedures, ensuring data is always kept up to date. Administration and auditing of vehicles, equipment, and other related components must be completed within agreed timeframes and standards.
* Office Management: Effectively engage trades and subcontractors to complete necessary upkeep and repairs to assets and offices. Undertake regular office checks to ensure our offices are maintained to a high standard.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn – no prior experience is required.
* A current and valid driver's licence.
* The Right to live and work in Australia.
* Flexibility to travel when required.
