CUSTOMER SUCCESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Cognex Corporation invests in talent through our Customer Success Development Program, a full-time paid opportunity for recent college undergraduates. This program trains and engages emerging professionals interested in Sales Enablement, Sales, Application Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, Field Service, Product Support & Solution Support roles. You will support Customers throughout their journey in the complete Sales cycle.

The Customer Success Development Program cultivates highly skilled, productive, and committed Cognoids who will help lead Cognex's future success. Participants develop engineering & commercial skills, increase technical competence, and gain market knowledge by working on critical business projects. Each candidate makes immediate contributions to the business, securing a position within Cognex after the program.


Qualifications:

* A high-energy, motivated learner with a passion for cutting-edge technologies and projects.
* Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that drive change.
* A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and takes initiative to address problems without hesitation.


Education and Experience Required:

* Open only to Undergraduate Seniors and Masters students graduating in May 2025 (Program start date: June 2025).
* A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field.
* Ability to program in JS and C++ (preferred).


PROGRAM OVERVIEW


CSDP Assignments:

The 12-month development program includes various assignments in multiple departments across Cognex. The program targets the development of functional, technical, and leadership skills. These assignments help determine where candidates will flourish in their full-time position at Cognex.

* Assignments span across Sales Enablement, Sales, Application Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, Field Service, Product Support & Solution Support departments.
* Assignments span across Factory Automation, Logistics, Packaging, Semiconductor & Electronics industries.
* The number and length of assignments fluctuate depending on business need.
* Participants collaborate on a group project presented prior to graduation.


CSDP Training:

Exclusive training is offered in developmental areas, including:

* Introduction to Cognex Corporation.
* Cognex culture and leadership.
* Technical instruction & product overviews.
* Machine vision and ID technology industry overview.
* Project management.
* Communication skills.
* Presentation skills.
* Negotiating skills.


CSDP Networking:

The program offers networking opportunities with colleagues and executives from day one. Formal introductions, team building exercises, and hands-on work experience immerse participants in the corporate culture.
