The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Alumni and Community Relations, you will oversee the end-to-end management of theSchool'sdiverse event portfolio,fromInformation Sessions toschoolevents and key milestone celebrations.
This is a leadership role with one direct report (Administration & Event Assistant) and extensive collaboration across theSchool, including Facilities, IT/AV, Marketing,Advancementand external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the integrated planning and delivery of all School events across three campuses
* Develop and implement a 12-month strategic event calendar aligned to enrolment,alumniand fundraising objectives
* Establish and refine event policies,processesand systems to ensure consistency and accountability
* Oversee budgets, suppliernegotiationsand contractor management
* Produce comprehensive event documentation including project plans, running sheets, seating plans, AVbriefsand post-event analysis
* Partner with Marketing and Communications to maximise attendance and nurture post-event engagement
* Provide guidance to Heads of House on key community events such as House Dinners and Valedictories
* Drive continuous improvement in systems and the attendee experience
* Lead and mentor the Administration & Event Assistant

You are a confident and capable event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on delivery.
You will bring:
* Significant event management experience with a strongtrack recordof delivering successful events
* Strategic planning capability and strong analytical skills
* Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
* Exceptional organisational and project management ability
* Experience managing event budgets and negotiating with suppliers
* A collaborative leadership style and proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Experience within education or the not-for-profit sector
* Familiarity with event systems such as Synergetic,TryBookingor Canva
* Previousteam leadership experience
