About the role
Are you looking for an apprenticeship opportunity or new role in 2026? Maybe you part way through your apprenticeship and looking for a new challenge? Telwater will have full time permanent opportunities for a semi-skilled or entry level welder to join our welding team, based in Coomera. Some experience with welding is highly desirable. Great opportunity to further develop your skills and learn how to build our iconic range of boats.
Apprenticeship opportunities available - Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication).
This is a physically demanding role working 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime.
Skills And Experiences
What we are looking for:
* Ability to learn how to fabricate and build aluminium boats
* Basic MIG and/or TIG welding skills would be highly desirable but not essential
* Certificate II Engineering or Engineering pathways course highly desirable.
* Work towards, and maintain allocated build time frames to ensure the smooth flow of production
* With training, produce neat and quality welds daily
* Use of equipment such as power tools, pneumatic tools, band saws, hand tools and welders
* Have fun, learn every day and challenge yourself.
