Senior Project Officer Department : Homes NSW Location : Parramatta, NSW, AU,

* Senior Project Officer – several roles Location : Hybrid with 50% in office attendance Ongoing and temporary full-time opportunities (35 hours per week) Clerk Grade 9 / 10 - $129,464 to $142,665 plus superannuation and leave loading Your role The Senior Project Officers contribute to the development and delivery of a range of housing and homelessness related projects in line with established objectives across the Office of the CEO of Homes NSW.

The Office of the Chief Executive Officer comprises several units, including Senior Project Officer roles that have a general and a specific focus.

The roles work together in the coordination, preparation, and review of Ministerial and Departmental correspondence, briefings and parliamentary material.

Some roles focus mainly upon Ministerial and Departmental correspondence, and some focus on briefings and parliamentary material.

Ultimately, there is potential for working across each of these areas of responsibility.


What you'll do

As a Senior Ministerial Project Officer your usual responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Coordinate, review and provide high quality Ministerial and Departmental correspondence, briefings, Parliamentary documents and other Parliamentary support services, and advise and support team members on these materials.

Lead projects surrounding the input, coordination and quality assurance for reports, papers, agendas, briefings and reports for the CEO, Secretary and Minister.

Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships and communication with the Minister's Office, departmental senior executives of the portfolio agencies and key stakeholders to ensure requests are met, and service delivery is efficient and appropriate.

Ensure the timely preparation of documents by following up overdue advice and identifying when additional advice or input is required.

Support the Manager by assisting with leadership of a team of Project Officers and may assume ad hoc supervision of other team members.


What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have: Ability to build sound relationships with stakeholders and ensure high-level professional liaison with senior executives.

Significant successful experience in overseeing and producing high-level correspondence which may include briefing notes, and parliamentary material.

Strong ability to manage, plan and prioritise high volumes of work with conflicting and critical deadlines to achieve deadlines and milestones to the required standards and within budget.
