We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager in our finance team. This position presents an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about driving growth and innovation in the finance sector.
About the Role
* The successful candidate will be responsible for leadership in developing internal/external finance programs, supporting equipment sales through financing and finance program development.
* They will lead/oversee the development of both internal and external finance programs for all product lines with participation from various sales executives.
* They will provide feedback and guidance to the finance team on future opportunities and competitive pressures.
* Manage and develop retail finance managers and assist with developing Brandt Finance personnel to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
* Work with the finance and sales teams to identify and acquire strategic customers.
* Achieve sales and market share goals, as agreed, for the long-term success of Brandt Finance.
* Gather and monitor competitive intelligence from the marketplace to ensure Brandt Finance is providing superior products.
* Support equipment sales.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Ten plus years of direct equipment finance-related experience in progressively senior management roles required.
* Prior experience in a similar field would be considered an asset.
* A high level of written and oral communication skills is required.
* Ability to travel across the ANZ footprint, developing and strengthening relationships with strategic customers and sales executives.
