We're looking for a talented Architectural Technician who's ready to lead design excellence in a fast-paced, modular construction environment. You'll be the bridge between concept and construction, translating client vision into buildable, commercially viable solutions that push the boundaries of design.
This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, collaboration and creativity. You'll work closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors to deliver high-value Design & Construct (D&C) projects across education and commercial sectors.
The Position
* Oversee internal and external design teams to ensure alignment with project vision, buildability and compliance
* Coordinate with engineering, services and construction teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
* Act as the architectural lead in client meetings, workshops and design reviews
* Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards, BCA, planning requirements and WHS regulations
* Manage design risks and proactively resolve conflicts between design intent, cost and construction methodology
* Contribute to feasibility studies, cost planning and tender submissions
* Support innovation and champion modular design excellence across every stage of delivery
* Maintain quality assurance processes and provide technical guidance to junior team members
About You
* 3–5 years' post-graduate experiencein architectural design, ideally within D&C or modular environments
* Confidence to lead designs from concept through to construction documentation
* Experience with BIM platforms and have a sharp eye for detail and buildability
* A strong understand theBuilding Code of Australia planning processes and compliance requirements
* Ability to manage multiple projects, juggling deadlines and still delivering exceptional outcomes
* Natural communication skills with the ability to lead client presentations, workshops and design reviews
* A strategic mindset who can contribute to feasibility studies, tenders, and project pitches
