Exciting opportunity for a dynamic Project Officer!
Wagga Women's Health Centre Inc. (WWHC) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing an alternative, feminist healthcare service run by women for women, ensuring accessibility without financial and cultural barriers to the women of Wagga Wagga and surrounding districts.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Officer to join our team on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE / 3 days per week) until 31 December 2026. This role will support the delivery of the Men As Allies Project. Men As Allies will focus on the engagement of men and boys in the prevention of domestic and family violence.
About the role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the planning, development and delivery of the Men As Allies project and all related activities. You will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders across the community, including the Men's Consultation Group, to co-design and deliver activities that engage men in conversations and actions to prevent domestic and family violence.
This role will require a valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check and be up to date in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid (or a willingness to obtain these certificates).
The remuneration is a SCHADS Level 4 role, with final hourly rate dependent on candidate experience.

About you
* Qualification in related field or equivalent experience
* Experience in community-based services, community development or volunteer experience in the community sector
* Project management and/or event delivery experience
* Strong digital literacy skills (e.g. Canva, Survey Monkey, MailChimp, Squarespace or other web CMS)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and advocacy skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience in women-only or feminist services
* Understanding of primary prevention principles
* Knowledge of local health and community service systems
