The team is dedicated to creating a customer focused and collaborative environment, empowering decision makers in the delivery of innovative education and research.**Your New Role!**The Senior Management Accountant will support the Manager, Finance Business Partnering (Central, Offices & Capital) and the Head of Financial Performance to provide expert advice, guidance and support to the University Executive and Finance Executive with respect to a full scope of strategic and operational financial matters in the development and execution of the University's strategy – *Ngala Kwop Biddi: Building a Brighter Future, Together.*Your key responsibilities will include –* Lead the governance and continuous improvement of financial performance reporting and analytics, ensuring a single source of truth through strong data governance, consistent metric definitions and reconciliations, and effective utilisation of Power BI or related finance systems and datasets.* Design and embed an integrated financial management, planning and reporting framework for the University's Office portfolio, including governance, standards and reporting cadence, to enable effective performance monitoring and decision making aligned to strategic objectives.* Oversee the University's budgeting, forecasting and reporting in consultation with the Manager, Finance Business Partnering (Central, Offices & Capital).* Provide high quality strategic financial advice to Executive stakeholders and senior leaders.* Lead the preparation of Operating budget and forecasts.* Deliver evidence based financial modelling, analysis, and advice ensuring sound financial outcomes are delivered consistently to support decision making.* Establish and maintain stakeholder engagement and financial literacy uplift activities for budget holders, enabling proactive financial management, accountability and early identification and mitigation of financial risks.* Build trusted and collaborative relationships and partnerships.* Lead, as required, specific projects and internal reviews, as identified by Finance Executives.Please refer to the for further details.**What We Offer You!****This Continuous | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of $131,000 – $137,000 plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.**You'll join a dynamic and talented team where diversity and innovation thrive.
