The chance
Our busy Mackay workshop has an opportunity for a Welder with experience working in heavy, manufacturing workshops. Your responsibilities will include the repair and fabrication of various parts and equipment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Trade qualification in welding, with at least 3 years' experience.
· Proven commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.
· Experience in using arc air gouging, plasma cutting & oxy acetylene equipment.
· Knowledge of TIG welding would be valuable, however not essential.
· Experience using robotic welders would beneficial.
· Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol test.
· Forklift licence and doggers ticket would be considered advantageous.
