SALES & PARTS CONSULTANT FOR EXCAVATORS/TRUCK LOADERS

Turnbulls Gippsland has expanded into Takeuchi excavators.We are looking for someone to join the team that is passionate about heavy machinery, particularly excavators.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support: Provide expert guidance and advice to customers on excavator parts, accessories, and servicing needs. As well as giving support to our already established Truck Sales team.

Parts Identification & Sourcing: Assist customers in identifying the right parts and ensure timely procurement of high-quality components.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, offering tailored solutions that meet their equipment needs.

Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of excavator models, parts, and servicing options to ensure customers receive accurate and reliable advice.

Servicing Coordination: Collaborate with the service team to ensure that all repairs, maintenance, and servicing needs are met.

Inventory Management: Assist with parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed for parts in demand.

Qualifications:

Experience in sales, parts consulting, or servicing within the construction or heavy machinery industry (excavators preferred), desired but not essential. Able to provide on the job training.

Strong knowledge of excavator parts, servicing, and equipment, desired but not essential.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customer requests.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
