facility in Meadow Springs,Mandurah. As a Kitchen/Servery/Cleaning Attendant with RAAFA, youwill work closely and collaboratively with other teams and clinicalstaff to ensure the needs and desires of the residents are metefficiently and effectively. Whether it's maintaining a clean andtidy state within the Residential Care Centre, providing cleanlinen and personal items or assisting with the provision of meals,drinks and snacks, you will contribute to the maintenance of ahome-like environment for our residents.
This role as a Kitchen/Cleaning/Laundry Attendant willsee you:
Performing all food handling duties in accordance withFoodsafe Hygiene Regulations
Communicate with residents and staff to ensure that mealsand snacks provided meet quality and choice expectations
Assist residents with choices from the menu aspublished
Perform cleaning duties as per the kitchen cleaningschedules and documenting when duties are completed
Collect, launder, fold and return linen for residents asper the cleaning schedule
Ensure the laundry is clean, tidy and equipment is usedsafely and correctly
Contribute to a safe working environment by identifying orreporting all incidents, accidents and hazards
Contribute to maintaining a home-like environment forresidents.
About you:
Previous experience working in a hospitalityenvironment
Ability to work autonomously and with a multidisciplinaryteam
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy andunderstand their needs.
Excellent time management and organisational skills toeffectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, theirfamilies and staff.
