About the Role:
An opportunity exists to be part of the Gatehouse Centre Team, supporting our clinicians working with children and young people impacted by sexual abuse and/or have engaged in harmful or problematic behaviour, recover from the impacts of trauma and build resilient futures. Located at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Flemington Road, Parkville as part of our friendly and dynamic team.
This is two Fixed term Part time position at 4 days per week until the end of October 2024.
In this role you will provide administrative support for the coordination of day-to-day administrative activities to the Gatehouse clients and Gatehouse service. In addition, the position will focus on maintaining information system to support quality improvement and service evaluation that leads to improved clinical care and monitoring and improvement of evidence-based clinical practices.
What you’ll achieve
* Provide assistance in working at Gatehouse Centre Reception, telephone enquiries, clients presenting in person and management clinic cancellations.
* Managing appointments in work queue, book initial session, entry and maintenance of accurate data in patient information systems.
* Ensure the integrity of Gatehouse data records through the specific tasks of inputting, filing and monitoring.
* General clerical, processing and administrative duties including telephone duties, taking appointments, maintenance of referral waiting lists and process mail.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 2 Level 1 – Grade 2 Level 5 AO21 – AO25 (base salary $65,442 - $73,002.80 per annum, plus superannuation.

About the Gatehouse Centre:
The Gatehouse Centre sits within the Allied Health Directorate at RCH and is a Member of Sexual Assault Services Victoria (SASVic) consisting of a team of approximately 40. Clinical team members are qualified social workers, psychologists, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, mental health nurses and family therapists.
