The Account Manager will support the commercial growth of Ingeteam in the Solar PV and BESS markets across Australia. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, maintaining robust customer relationships, and assisting in the preparation of proposals and tenders, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales strategy and technical standards.
What You Will Do
Sales and Customer Development
Promote Ingeteam’s solar PV and BESS solutions to EPCs, developers, and utilities.
Support the sales process from initial enquiry through to order closing.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Identify current potential customers and market opportunities through research and networking.
Commercial Support
Prepare technical and commercial offers in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Assist in negotiations under the supervision of the Sales Manager.
Participate in industry events and exhibitions to represent the company and generate leads.
Coordination and Reporting
Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, project management, aftersales) to ensure smooth delivery of customer commitments.
Track sales performance and provide periodic reports on activities, leads, and opportunities.
Market Knowledge
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the Australian renewable sector.
Gather customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
At least 2–3 years’ experience in sales or business development, ideally in renewable energy or electrical equipment.
Robust communication and negotiation skills.
Technical understanding of solar PV and/or BESS systems is highly valued.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
