We're seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic (Gas) to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of plant and equipment.
This FIFO/DIDO role (15:13 dayshift only ex Perth) offers variety, travel, and the chance to work on cutting‐edge energy projects.
You'll receive comprehensive training to develop specialist expertise in CNG refuelling sites, gas trains, gas power systems, hydrogen refuelling sites, thermal power stations, LNG facilities, and more. What you'll do
* Carry out comprehensive maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and plant relating to gas across workshop and site environments.
* Diagnose issues, resolve faults promptly, and maintain accurate records through both physical documentation and digital systems, including reporting through the online platform.
* Support operational needs by assisting with deliveries, collections, workshop upkeep, tool maintenance, and maintaining service box stock levels.
* Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, workplace standards, and hazard or near‐miss reporting requirements.
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture built on excellence, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
What you'll bring
* Trade certificate (Mechanical or Electrical)
* WA electrical restricted licence and supervised gas fitting licenses is advantageous and will need to be obtained for these roles
* Mandatory manual C Class driver's license
* Ability to diagnose problems and be self-motivated
* Great mechanical aptitude and communication skills
* Your own toolbox and tooling - a shared vehicle will be provided
