Registered Nurse - Emergency (Calvary Mater Newcastle)
Location: Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Contract: Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time. Closing on: Nov.
Position Description
As a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for the provision of high quality, safe, people-focused care to achieve desired clinical outcomes. You will be available to work all shifts on a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, night shift and weekends.

Salary
Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1‑8. Remuneration: $36.39–$51.09 per hour plus super and annual leave loading.
Selection Criteria (Essential)
- Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent clinical experience in acute care or emergency nursing.
- Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and in periods of high demand and activity.
- Knowledge of and willingness to work towards achieving Emergency Department Key Performance Indicators.
Pre‑employment Conditions
Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia. Successfully complete pre‑employment checks, including reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC. Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
