Telecommunications Technical Specialist
The Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technical Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for providing telecommunications technical support and direction for an extensive and complex network and collaborative telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing technical support and direction for the telecommunications infrastructure
* Ensuring the delivery of high-quality service consistent with the specific needs and strategic objectives of the health district
* Developing internal innovation, business cases, and projects within the telecommunications field
Requirements:
* A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
* Strong knowledge of Cisco/Aruba networking infrastructure covering both LANs and WANs
* Knowledge in Cisco Call Manager/administration
* Evidence of expertise through education, training, and work experience in network and/or collaboration technologies

What You'll Be Doing:
You will be working on developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet the telecommunication needs of the health district. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the telecommunications system and providing support to staff.
Selection Criteria:
* Ability to demonstrate breadth of experience, depth of knowledge, and interpersonal skills
* Experience in writing or contributing to policy, procedures, and local ICT standards
* Knowledge and experience of procedures relating to change, incident, and problem management
