**About the Role**
As the Executive Assistant to the Medical Lead(s) in Surgery, you will be at the heart of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing invaluable administrative and secretarial support. Your role will involve offering proactive advice, handling sensitive and complex matters, and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives by preparing and drafting reports, briefing notes, and managing key communications to ensure the smooth operation of the Surgery department.
Your expertise in organisation and problem-solving will be crucial as you manage multiple priorities, conduct minor research, and contribute to various projects. With a focus on data collection and analysis, you'll play a vital role in helping the Medical Lead(s) make informed decisions. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting healthcare professionals in making a real difference.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle confidential matters with integrity and discretion while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong experience in providing secretarial support, including minute-taking, agenda preparation, and handling complex correspondence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, adapt to change, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
