Indie is looking for a Administration Officer - Legal (Junior Paralegal) to join our team.
This position is on a permanent basis, based in Midland, Perth.

Our legal team is growing, and we are seeking a legal professional to provide expert advice on matters of disability discrimination, mandatory reporting, and compliance with state and national education laws, particularly as they pertain to schools, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and child safety.

Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with members of the legal team
Ability to compile and prepare monthly reports
Conducting statutory searches, including Landgate, ASIC and other government sites
Generating templates and populating them with information as instructed
Liaising with other members of the company
Photocopying, scanning and printing as required
Formulating and maintaining up-to-date procedures
Keeping meeting notes and task lists
General assistance (managing travel schedules, booking flights etc); and
A desire to learn and grow.
Desirable criteria
Property and/or family law and/or criminal law matters
MS Word and Excel
Xakia, Net Documents and/or other legal practice management software
Preparing court briefs (collation and indexation of documents)
PEXA and e-Lodgement

Remuneration
Level 5 (AWCC Enterprise Agreement *********) $69,281 per annum, plus superannuation based on training and experience.
