Psychologist (Clinical or Generalist) - Dandenong
Your New Role:
We are looking for psychologists (clinical, generalist, and registrar). This is a 2–3-day position (contractor preferred) with a highly competitive fee split or an attractive negotiable salary at our Dandenong location. We are keen to shape a role around your clinical goals and career progression pathways.
- Attractive 60-65% fee split (contractor).
- Pro rata of $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience (part-time employee).
PsychService is leading the way in assessment and psychological therapy across the lifespan. We are an neuro-affirming practice with two clinics located in Kew and Dandenong. We are a group-based practice comprising 5 clinicians, a practice manager, and administrative assistants. The Dandenong clinic is part of a wider multi-disciplinary team including doctors, nurses, and a dietician. We see a variety of clinical disorders including eating disorders, functional gut disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, neurodiverse clients, and trauma. We recognize the importance of work/life balance and offer flexible working arrangements. We are currently registering for NDIS, providing room for growth.

· Support to develop skills in diagnostic assessments for ASD, ADHD, SLD, ID, personality disorders, psychosocial disabilities, and mood disorders.
· Team-building activities and social functions.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conduct psychological assessments such as autism, ADHD, SLD, intellectual disability, personality disorders, and mood disorders.
* Provide evidence-based psychological treatments.
* Report writing and GP feedback letters (using AI software for dictation and transcription).
* Deliver group and individual interventions (co-facilitated with Dr. Tania Pietrzak).
* Maintain good client retention using feedback tools.
* Work with a variety of clients including children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples, and families, based on your area of competency or interest.
About You:
* General Registration with AHPRA, or registration as a Clinical, Educational and Developmental, or Counselling Psychologist.
* Eligibility for Medicare provider registration.
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
* Current ABN and professional indemnity insurance if contracting.
* Familiarity with online treatment delivery.
* Experience with CBT, REBT, ACT, DBT, behavioral interventions, CBT-E, MANTRA, Family-Based Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, social skills training (training provided).
* Strong report writing and case formulation skills.
* Passionate about mental health and supporting community well-being.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, adaptable and problem-solving.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Private practice experience preferred.
* Experience working with neurodivergent, disability, and NDIS clients preferred.
