Job Description The Payroll Officer is responsible for assisting with the full payroll function for approximately 3,500 employees across JAG Australia. You will conduct end-to-end payroll processing and be responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in payroll operations. In this role, you will also: Managing payroll queries and providing expert guidance to employees and managers. Processing terminations, bonuses, and payroll adjustments. Calculating various types of leave, including maternity leave, long service leave, and WorkCover. Reconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate reporting. Performing superannuation reconciliation and lodgements. Collaborating with broader People & Capability team, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations. Supporting system improvements and process enhancements. Staying up to date on all payroll legislative changes and their impact on employees, including PAYG, state tax, and other relevant legislation. Handling year-end processing and Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions.
