Join to apply for the Senior Manager Data Capability role at Bendigo Bank. 
This is a permanent full time position with a hybrid work model. Flexible options include a minimum of three days per week in our Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, Brisbane or Sydney corporate offices. 
Responsibilities 
- Work across Finance with Senior Business Leaders (Data Custodians) to uplift data management practices, improve data usage and accuracy to inform operational and strategic decisions, and act as a key conduit to Data Custodians outside Finance to capture requirements where Finance are a data consumer. 
- Develop a prioritised and sequenced roadmap and implementation plan that unlocks incremental value and demonstrates uplift in Finance data governance maturity. Lead execution activities and coordinate across functional teams using a virtual team. 
- Define and measure success and report on value delivered and uplift in maturity across the division.

What you’ll bring to the role 
- Solid experience in a Data Analyst, Data Quality or Data Governance role 
- Ability to provide leadership to project teams and collaborate with business stakeholders to develop solutions that deliver business value and insight 
- Ability to generate a productive team environment and coordinate resources across different areas to achieve results 
- Experience of data warehousing concepts and techniques, querying relational databases and business intelligence tools 
- Demonstrated experience with using or configuring Collibra or similar Data Governance tools 
- Strong skills in verbal and written communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement 
- A practical approach to resolving issues focusing on delivering timely benefits to the organisation 
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent experience
