Job Overview
An exciting opportunity exists to lead the regional team and oversee the delivery of programs and activation of youth facilities in two key areas.
We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and experienced staff member who can plan, develop, and deliver mental health, wellbeing, and leadership services for children and young people aged 6 to 18.
The Role Involves:
1. Supporting a small team to deliver mental health, wellbeing, and leadership programs in regional areas across Hume.
2. Managing the operations of two youth centres, including lease agreements, maintenance, and capital works.
3. Overseeing facility budgets and operations, as well as building local stakeholder partnerships.
4. Planning, developing, and delivering programs and supports aligned with Connect & Thrive: A Plan for Young People in Hume.
5. Supervising and guiding a team of Youth Support Officers to evaluate mental health, wellbeing, and leadership services and programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work, or Community Development.
* Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
* First Aid Certificate.
