We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to work closely with foster carers, children, and support services to ensure placements are stable, supportive, and tailored to each child's unique needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Engage with carers to support children in all aspects of life at home and in the wider community.
* Contribute to the assessment of children and carers' needs through observational and evaluation skills.
* Work collaboratively with Child Safety Services, community agencies, and stakeholders to establish and maintain sound working relationships.
* Provide on-call services through a scheduled roster.
* Identify carer training and developmental needs to ensure the needs of the children are met.
Mandatory Requirements / Qualifications:
* Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.
