Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, including childcare fees and supplier payments
* Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant awards and entitlements
* Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entries
* Monitor cash flow and support funding/grant reporting
* Ensure compliance with ATO, CCS (Child Care Subsidy), and regulatory requirements
* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required
* Assist with policy development related to financial management and sustainability
Requirements:
* Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Diploma or higher)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance/accounting role
* Familiarity with early childhood education funding and CCS processes (desirable)
* Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
* High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration or willingness to obtain
