Company Description

At Greencross Camira, we are part of a warm, community‐minded pocket of Brisbane's west where pets are known by name, clients come back year after year, and everyday veterinary work feels very personal.

Why Camira feels different

We are a large, homely clinic with room to move, think, collaborate and care well. Our facilities include:

* Three consult rooms
* Spacious prep and dentistry areas
* Cattery and kennels
* A generous outdoor area at the front of the clinic where clients can give their dogs a run before or after their visit

The work we do

Our days are varied, hands‐on and rewarding, with a steady mix of consults, routine surgery, dentistry, preventive care, patient follow‐ups and client education.

You will have the chance to build strong relationships with clients and guide them through the choices that help their pets live long, happy and healthy lives.

Responsibilities

* Conduct consultations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
* Perform routine surgeries and provide dental care.
* Deliver preventive care, follow‐up appointments, and client education.
* Collaborate with nurses and fellow veterinarians in a supportive environment.
* Manage case records and treatment plans.

Who Will Thrive Here

You will feel at home at Greencross Camira if you are:

* A warm, approachable vet who enjoys being part of a local community.
* Comfortable building trust with loyal clients over time.
* Confident with consults, routine surgery and everyday general practice.
* Happy to work in collaboration with nurses and fellow vets.
* Calm, kind and practical in the way you care for pets and their people.
* Looking for a full‐time role with flexibility around how your roster works.

What We Back You With

At Greencross, we want you to have the support, flexibility and development to keep loving the work you do.

Benefits and Access

* A full‐time permanent role with a flexible roster.
* Four weeks annual leave, plus one week paid study leave.
* World‐class continuing education including clinical conferences, workshops, webinars and external training.
* Paid AVA membership or annual veterinary registration.
* VIN membership.
* Scholarships for higher‐level education courses.
* Discounts across Greencross Vets, Animal Referral and Emergency network, and Petbarn nationwide.
* 24/7 confidential counselling through Telus.
* Trained Mental Health First Aid Officers across our clinics.
* Support from a national veterinary network while retaining the local feel.

Qualifications

You will hold a veterinary degree registrable with the Queensland Veterinary Surgeons Board.

More than that, you bring the kind of care that clients remember: you listen well, communicate clearly, treat pets with patience and respect, and take pride in doing good work alongside good people.
