We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Partner to join a government department in Rockdale, NSW.
This is a 8 month contract paying $57 per hour + superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic and operational injury management advice and support to enhance leadership capabilities and development of a positive and resilient approach to achieving management goals.
2. Develop and maintain Return to Work Programs to ensure minimal time loss and impacts on premium.
3. Liaise effectively with key external stakeholders including State Cover, medical and legal practitioners, and relevant legislative bodies to achieve optimal outcomes for the department and its employees.
4. Provide education, support, and advice to managers to ensure they are proactive participants in supporting the rehabilitation of their workers and sharing information regarding the performance and trends of claims in their area of responsibility.
Skills & Experience
1. Experience in injury management, occupational health, or a similar role is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in injury management.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
