About the Role
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist who has a passion for working with adult and young clients with neurodevelopmental or neurological conditions. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and work with clients in a fully resourced clinic, client homes, and within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence‐based speech and language therapy for adults and young people with acquired, progressive, and developmental neurological conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, brain injury, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disability.
- Work with clients and their families to set and achieve personalised goals.
- Develop and implement intervention plans in various settings.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent with current membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated commitment to client‐centred approaches.
- Driver's licence and reliable internet for remote work.
- Required checks: Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screen Check.
- Up‐to‐date COVID‐19 vaccination (3 doses) and willingness for annual flu vaccination.
Desirable
- Experience working within the NDIS framework.
- 2+ years of clinical experience.
