Ourclient is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Compliance Advisorto join their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to the General Manager Compliance to help ensure the client meets its legal, regulatory and internal policy obligations through the implementation of the Compliance Framework and assisting in the development and implementation of the Compliance Management System.
* Act as an information source to the business to anticipate regulatory requirements and to support an accurate interpretation and application of new regulations.
* Undertake a thorough analysis to identify obligations and develop an obligations register, which identifies the obligation owners, defines the obligation and describes its impact.
Selection Criteria
* A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Law; or equivalent experience.
* Deep subject matter expertise and experience in Information Access (GIPA).
* Experience in compliance and/or risk frameworks.
* Experience as compliance practitioner, ideally in the insurance or government sector.
Onoffer is a contract until 27/02/2026at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with ahighly competitive daily rate.
