About the Role:

The Australian Border Force is seeking reliable and adaptable individuals to fill various positions as Assistant Border Force Officers. As an APS 2 officer, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of general administrative and operational support duties, including processing passengers through international airports or seaports.

Assisting frontline operational teams to meet peaks associated with the movement of people and goods across the border is also a key responsibility. This role provides a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, allowing you to develop operational and administrative skills to contribute to the department's objectives.

Additional roles may be available at other locations, such as Container Examination Facility and Detained Goods Warehouse, International Mail Centre, Aviation Goods and Cargo Clearance team, or Newcastle International Airport. Please indicate your interest in working at these locations during the interview process.

Work may be undertaken outside of standard business hours. Successful completion of training, which lasts approximately three weeks on a full-time basis, is a condition of employment.
