About the Job
This role involves overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring that our high-quality restoration, panel beating, spray painting services meet customer satisfaction standards. As General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations across multiple shops, leading and supporting a team of skilled professionals, including panel beaters, spray painters, apprentices, and assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations across all shops
* Lead and support staff to achieve excellent workmanship and timely completion
* Monitor job progress, workflow, parts ordering, and job costing
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth operations
* Handle customer service issues or escalations as needed
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report weekly
* Help implement operational systems and processes
Requirements:
* Is highly organised, reliable, and confident in managing teams
* Can work independently and make decisions without supervision
* Understands quoting, workflow management, quality standards, and customer service principles
* Has strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence
* Basic administrative skills and knowledge of bookkeeping practices
* Previous experience in a leadership or management role is desirable
