Responsibilities
* Ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times
* Leading, coaching, and motivating the customer service team
* Actioning cash management, including counting tills and safe, preparing floats, banking, and investigating variances
* Completing daily sales reporting and general administrative duties
* Training new, and upskilling existing team members
* Responding to customer queries, escalating issues to the broader management team where required
Requirements
* 5+ years experience in retail (supermarket experience highly regarded)
* Availability across store trading hours on a full-time roster, including weekends and evenings (Preston IGA trades 24/7)
* Ability and willingness to provide a current Police Clearance
* Proven ability to lead, train, and support a customer service team
* Competency with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook), and overall confidence using computers
* Strong administrative skills, and a sound knowledge of store processes and systems
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
