THE OPPORTUNITY
The department of Building, Construction, and Trades is actively seeking a candidate with industry expertise are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to prepare, conduct and assess VET and industry-based programs in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
In this position, you have a special chance to employ captivating teaching techniques that spark students' passion for the industry. Join our team and lead enthusiastic learners as they seek knowledge and expertise, playing an essential role in shaping the upcoming generation of professionals!
ABOUT YOU
4. Completion of an approved apprenticeship and substantial work experience in a relevant occupation following the apprenticeship.
5. Industry and teaching experience, with experience in vocational and/or higher education teaching, with a focus on course development.
6. Effective communication, interpersonal, and research skills for diverse student engagement.
7. Aptitude for innovative and flexible educational delivery, highlighting adaptability and creativity in teaching approaches.
8. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
