This position is initially a casual position (full time hours) with the opportunity to move to a salary position for the right candidate.
Above industry salary renumeration for the right candidate as well as performance incentive bonuses
We are looking for a person with :
Strong leadership and communication skills to enhance the growth of staff through coaching and training
Availability 5-6 days, weekends & public holidays are a MUST
The ability to problem solve under pressure with a positive attitude in a high-volume café
A good understanding of business and an awareness for achieving successful performance with proven experience with budgets, wage control, sales and wastage
Experience in implementing systems and efficiencies to ensure smooth operation
You will be responsible for :
Ensuring Cotto will operate efficiently and profitably while upholding Cotto's reputation
Leading a positive team culture and promoting a community loved establishment
Rostering & recruiting new staff members (FOH)
Liaising with the head chef on all matters that involve FOH staff
Purchasing and keeping in line with budgets
Liaising with marketing for social media, promo's...etc.
Excellent communication with staff e.g. staff meetings, 1 on 1's, training
Meeting KPI's
Quality standards and health and safety of the venue
