Executive Partner, People Southern Cross Care (Tasmania) is seeking an experienced Executive Partner, People to work in close partnership with the Chief People Officer (CPO) in a senior, trusted role at the centre of organisational decision-making. This is not a traditional executive assistant position. It is a high-impact executive partnership role for someone who brings sound judgement, strong governance capability, and the ability to translate strategic intent into disciplined execution. About the role Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will operate as a trusted advisor and integrator across the People portfolio. Your focus will be on ensuring executive and governance matters are decision-ready, priorities are progressed, and risks are surfaced early. Key responsibilities include: Acting as a trusted advisor and sounding board on strategic, operational and organisational matters Ensuring executive, Board and governance matters are clearly articulated, decision-ready and delivered on time Coordinating Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes, action tracking and follow-through Maintaining oversight of high-priority People initiatives, risks, dependencies and delivery commitments Supporting workforce governance, risk and compliance obligations, including under the Aged Care Act 2024 Drafting and quality-assuring executive correspondence, briefings, reports and governance papers Operating as a central point of integration across People portfolio processes to support disciplined execution About you You will bring: Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive support and advisory assistance to a senior executive in a complex, fast-paced and/or regulated environment Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information for executive and Board audiences Strong governance awareness, confidentiality and organisational insight Highly developed judgement, discretion and professionalism Confidence engaging with senior executives, Board members and external stakeholders Experience in People & Culture, HR, aged care, health or community services will be highly regarded Why join us A genuinely senior and influential role with enterprise-level impact Close partnership with a values-driven executive leader Purpose-led organisation supporting Tasmanians with care and dignity Attractive remuneration and employment conditions What’s On Offer A competitive salary The opportunity to salary package up to $18,900 per FBT year Free parking Relocation assistance Exclusive retail discounts Reward & Recognition Program Employee Assistance Program Purchased leave Ongoing training and development opportunities Discount private health insurance Corporate discounts and benefits from a wide range of popular brands!
