What You'll Do
Deliver key technical tasks across a diverse portfolio of generation and power‐system projects, ensuring rigorous engineering outcomes.
Prepare clear, high‐quality technical reports for small to medium‐scale projects, communicating complex concepts with precision.
Develop proposal scopes, methodologies and cost estimates for power‐system studies and related project work.
Perform classical power‐system analysis and modelling for studies such as:
* load flow
* transient stability
* generator performance (NER compliance)
* insulation coordination
* cable/transformer energisation
* steady‐state assessments
* short‐circuit analysis
* protection settings/coordination
Conduct field validation of generator performance through commissioning activities and hold‐point testing, including preparation of detailed testing reports.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Extensive experience in power‐system studies and associated engineering disciplines.
* Prior consultancy experience is highly regarded.
* Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical capability within the team.
* Strong competency in preparing and reviewing technical designs, reports and engineering documentation.
* Proficient in industry‐standard modelling tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, ETAP and SKM PTW.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
