About the Role
Our Client, Rio Tinto are seeking a capable and self‑motivated Document Controller to support the delivery of the Rio Tinto Aluminium Pacific Operations Sustaining Capital portfolio, across both study and execution project phases.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliant, accurate and timely document management across multiple project workstreams. You will work closely with project, engineering and delivery teams, supporting consistent document control practices in line with Rio Tinto standards and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Document Control Lead, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring compliance with Rio Tinto standards, external requirements, and Document Management & Control governance for Sustaining Capital projects
* Controlling, capturing, registering, and distributing project documentation across multiple internal and external sources
* Managing document workflows including numbering, revisions, reviews, approvals, and final distribution
* Supporting project teams with the creation and formatting of documentation to ensure consistency and quality
* Receiving, filing, tracking, and transmitting project documentation as required
* Maintaining accurate document registers and ensuring timely information flow across project teams
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Proven experience in a dedicated Document Control role
* Strong working knowledge of document control systems, processes and best practices
* Experience working within engineering, construction or project delivery environments
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced project setting
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Clear communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders
