Join this dynamic, fast paced University as an Infrastructure Solution Architect and be a key part of the Architecture Software Engineering group, responsible for the development of end-to-end Solutions from conceptual through to detailed designs.
Your brand-new role will see you work closely with the Enterprise Architects and other key members across the University to develop, maintain a range of architecture artefacts, including Logical and Physical Solution Designs, Patterns, Standards, Detailed Designs, and also providing inputs to roadmaps and technology/platform strategies.
Key activities/projects include: Design and implement enterprise-grade backup and recovery solutions for SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams and associated 365 products (Cohesity).
Architect secure print management solutions integrated with identity and access management systems.
Define and deliver a comprehensive observability framework, leveraging modern monitoring tools to improve system reliability and performance.
Modernise and secure video surveillance infrastructure to meet future operational and compliance needs (CCTV Server Upgrade).
Lead the enterprise-wide OS upgrade program, ensuring compatibility, performance, and minimal disruption to business operations ***** Operating System Upgrade) Skills and experience Minimum 10+ years success in working in within similar roles within large, complex environments.
Experience delivering solutions in two or more of the above-mentioned projects.
Comfortable, experienced, and accomplished at working with senior executives.
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments.
Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
Ability to work at varying levels of detail, from high level component/logical architecture to low level detail design.
