This position plays a critical leadership role in supporting operational and executive decision-making while ensuring strong governance and financial control.This opportunity suits a highly capable finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage both strategic priorities and detailed financial operations.As the **Senior Finance Manager**, you will oversee the full finance function and provide high-level commercial support to the leadership team. You will be responsible for managing financial performance across multiple business units while ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.Key responsibilities include:* Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting* Manage budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes* Prepare detailed profit and loss reporting by business unit* Oversee cashflow forecasting and working capital management* Ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand tax obligations* Manage payroll governance and statutory reporting requirements* Provide commercial insights to support business decisions* Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability* Lead cost analysis, rebate calculations and pricing reviews* Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting* Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation* Support senior leadership with strategic financial advice**What we're looking for**:Whilst experience in the Construction, plumbing or Concrete industry is preferred, we are open to applicants without experience who have the right attitude, and mechanical mindset!
