Support Services Manager
This is a dynamic leadership role that requires a high degree of initiative and self-motivation. As Support Services Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team in navigating complex operational challenges.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills within a complex stakeholder environment, with experience managing support services within an Australian Defence context.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and delivery of key services across maintenance, engineering, logistics, warehousing, planning, scheduling, and operations
* Oversee subcontractor and supplier management, as well as Australian Industry Capability (AIC) and regional development initiatives
* Manage technical data and Defence-supplied equipment (GFE, GFM, GFS, GFD)
* Uniformed personnel management, including maintenance management system and regulatory compliance
* Service delivery reporting, administration, and coordination
Requirements:
* Demonstrated leadership in delivering support services within a complex stakeholder environment
* Experience managing support services within an Australian Defence context
* Strong initiative and self-motivation
* Sharp attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to build, lead and support high-performing teams
* Deep knowledge of engineering, maintenance, and supply support systems
* Understanding of Defence Engineering statutory compliance requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High-level analytical, reporting and presentation capabilities
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
* Capable of working independently with sound organisational and time management skills
* Effective planning, delegation, and team motivation skills
