We are a locally owned café in the heart of Harbour Town, seeking passionate chefs to join our close-knit team.
Positions available:
* Head Chef - 5+yrs Previous Head Chef experience required
* Qualified Chefs - 2+yrs experience desired
What you need to succeed in this role:
* Proven breakfast experience for Kitchen team – essential!
* Strong communication skills with front-of-house staff and café patrons
* Ability to liaise daily with the owner and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistent standards
* Experience working closely with suppliers and managing stock efficiently
* Calm under pressure with a professional, solutions-focused attitude
* Excellent attention to detail and food presentation
* Commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, including:
o Following the Food Act 2006 (QLD) and relevant council requirements
o Completing all required food safety and hygiene training
o Maintaining accurate temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and allergen awareness procedures
o Ensuring all food handling and storage practices meet compliance standards
* Valid Australian work visa required
