Job Description
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
The Assistant Service Manager will handle field technical training, estimating and providing quotations, manpower coordination and assignments, as well as assist with problem solving, issue resolution, and service work planning and completion.
Accountabilities:
Technician Support
* Assist technicians with problem solving and issue resolution
* Review of new lump sum service orders for scope and required materials
* Order equipment and materials where necessary
* Review lump sum projects for completion and ensure accurate application of hours and purchase orders in Global Edge
* Mark lump sum projects complete and send to billing for invoicing and closure
* Continual analysis and improvement of all processes
* Assist with job layout and planning
* Mentor technicians
* Coach technicians on the process of identifying required maintenance and repairs and how to properly document items necessary to complete
* Conduct training programs for apprentices
* Visit work sites
Qualifications:

* Thorough understanding of HVAC systems
* 10+ years of HVAC service work, including installation, maintenance, and repairs
* Oversee time and material service work completed daily
* Review service orders for accuracy and work completion
* Mark T&M service orders complete and send to billing for invoicing and closure
* Review any follow-ups generated while performing T&M work, forward to estimating where required
